Assembly Operative

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our clients assembly and manufacturing team in Durham. This role involves assembling vision panels to a high standard, ensuring accuracy and quality throughout the process. Full training will be provided, with a starting salary of £12.25 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

• Print and follow production paperwork and instructions
• Select and inspect timber profiles for defects
• Supporting joiners
• Assemble beads into 4-sided frames and apply glazing tape
• Mark frames with project details, fire rating, and bead type

Requirements:

• Ability to work independently once trained
• Team player with good communication skills
• Able to read and follow instructions/drawings
• Woodworking or assembly experience (preferred but not essential)

Working Hours: Monday – Thursday, 6:00am – 4:30pm (long weekends every week!)
